HANOI, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam drew 1-1 with Uzbekistan to win the international U23 football tournament here on Tuesday.

Uzbekistan made the opening goal in the 66th minute before Vietnam equalized 14 minutes later.

Also on Tuesday, Palestine tied with Oman 1-1.

By topping the five-day tournament, Vietnam won a cash prize of 20,000 U.S. dollars as it gears up for the 2018 Asiad to be held in Indonesia late August.

In January, Vietnam finished second at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship after losing to Uzbekistan 2-1 in the final in Changzhou, China. Enditem
