The town has cultivated more than 100 varieties of azalea flowers in local farms in recent years. Zhejiang, located on China's eastern coast, launched a project in 2003 to overhaul the living environment of villages. The province has made constant efforts in the past 15 years to improve the rural living environment, creating "tens of thousands of beautiful villages."
